Scott Van de Houten, has been with Cisco for over 15 years and has over 20 years of industry experience. He is currently the Product Manager for Performance Routing (PfR) and a Distinguished Communications Architect on the World Wide Sales Strategy Team focusing on Data Center and Enterprise network architectures. Scott has a broad range of experience and has held many different positions at Cisco, including, Manager of the IOS Routing Protocols Product Management team Distinguished Systems Engineer on the Data Center Consulting team Technical Lead for the Routing and Switching Technology Leadership Program Multiple Systems Engineering positions in US Federal Sales As the Manager of the IOS Routing Protocol Product Management team, Scott was responsible for the strategic direction of Cisco routing technologies, including Performance Routing (PfR), BGP, EIGRP, ISIS, OSPF, RIP, Static and Policy Based Routing (PBR). Scott is considered an expert in the areas of routing, switching and Enterprise network architectures. Prior to joining Cisco Systems, Inc., Scott worked as a network and communications engineer for Computer Sciences Raytheon and Martin Marietta Data Systems.

Zeus Kerravala manages Yankee Group's infrastructure research and consulting. His areas of expertise involve working with customers to solve their business issues through the deployment of infrastructure technology solutions, including switching, routing, network management, voice solutions and VPNs. Before joining Yankee Group, Kerravala was a senior engineer and technical project manager for Greenwich Technology Partners, a leading network infrastructure and engineering consulting firm. Prior to that, he was a vice president of IT for Ferris, Baker Watts, a mid-Atlantic based brokerage firm, acting as both a lead engineer and project manager deploying corporate-wide technical solutions to support the firm's business units. Kerravala's first task at FBW was to roll out a new frame relay infrastructure with connections to branch offices, service providers, vendors and the stock exchange. Kerravala was also an engineer and technical project manager for Alex. Brown and Sons, responsible for the technology related to the equity trading desks. Kerravala obtained a B.S. degree in physics and mathematics from the University of Victoria (Canada). He is also certified by Citrix and NetScout.

Ward Cobleigh is the solution marketing manager for network and application performance analysis solutions at Fluke Networks. He has more than 20 years of experience in the communications industry. Prior to joining Fluke Networks, he held business development and marketing management positions at Ganymede Software, Network Associates, Network General, FileNet and other technology companies.

Mike Fratto is a Managing Editor, Labs, of with InformationWeek covering the network access control, network infrastructure, and WAN optimization. Previously he was Editor for Secure Enterprise and Senior Technology Editor for Network Computing covering security. He has been with CMP for over 10 years. He has spoken at several conferences including NetWorld+Interop, MISTI, the Internet Security Conference, as well as to local groups. He also teaches a network security graduate course at Syracuse University. Prior to Network Computing, Mike was an independent consultant.
